Any update on these items?


Have any of these things been changed?  If not, when?

To focus a few items from this list/post, on those which involve unexpected deletion of player assets (immediate or delayed).  Some would argue unexpected deletion events would be a very high priority thing to address, if these haven't been?

    Hi, any update on if/when #3 ( reported August 2022 ) will be changed?

    I liken #3 as real-life scenario - taking a favorite and rare leather jacket into a professional leather workers shop, to have the leather dyed and new buttons added.  The shop asks for payment up front, but then decides to keep the item and the payment.  That probably wouldn't go over so well from a customer POV.

    any update on if/when #11 above (reported March 2022, perhaps earlier) will be changed?

    Shard and client crashes are one of the issues that leads to followers to being deleted.  It seems crashing shards are still a factor.

    I liken #11 as a real-life scenario - picking up a new pet at the per store, developing a connection and investing emotional and other efforts to that pet.  Only to later have the pet die unexpectedly, due to the pet store not properly handling vaccines and other normal care.  I'd expect such (repeatedly occuring) issues, if not addressed, to lead to the store going out of business.

    A couple of notes:
    1. I just tested #3, and indeed, the arficer still deletes transmogrified items.
    2. I recommend you re-triage a number of the items that were flagged "working as intended" in the newsletter that followed the post above.  Take into account the followups that took place after the post.  Surely deleting items is not "working as intended", as a start?
    3. The list above was posted well over a year ago, I'd think it'd be reasonable to at least provide a celandar year granularity of when changes/fixes will be made.

    The Dev team tried to reconfirm this and were unable to do so. If you could send me more information about this issue so that it can be investigated further and see if it can be reproduced. Thank you kindly!

    It's good to see this one made the TC1 testing patch notes today!

    Will this one be following as well? 6. Cannot repair parrot:

    When attempting repro of #3 (vrulkax-the-exalted-artificer-deletes-item), did the team use an item like a bone helmet or plate helm, a target that started non-medable?  I don't know if that's a factor.  I'm not in a position to be purchasing transmog potions to test other item types.

    I offer to meet you on TC to hand you an item that reproduces the problem.  I could hand you an item to test on TC1 at 3PM EST today or tomorrow, meet at vruklax artificer at royal city, PM to confirm.  (*)

    On the other hand, I suggest the following changes on test center, to make these sorts of things more efficient:
    1. Add all transmogrify potions to the static crafting ingredients bag/table "give" command on test center.  These shouldn't be short lived "clickies".
    2. Remove the cool down timer on character transfers to test center.
    3. Remove the cool down timer impact to other production transfers when a character recently xfered to TC1.
    (*) edit: looks like TC1 now has a different patch level than production, so I can't offer that service at this time, since I can't xfer items to test. Please proceed with at least #1 above if assistance is needed.  If the team wasn't able to reproduce the problem, please try what I suggested in another thread "QA by code inspection".

    @ForeverFun - if you'd like to call out on GC on TC1 as we'll be monitoring for a short while, but we investigated the issue as you reported - was your backpack overloaded by any chance?  It's possible there was no room and the item was placed at your feet.

    I called out several times to you by name on TC1, requesting head transmog potions.

    As mentioned above, I can no longer hand over an item to test on TC1 as I can no longer xfer characters/items to TC1.  Please do add all the transmog potions to one of the static tables for the "give" commands on TC.

    I reproduced the problem on June 3/4th 2025.  Was not overweight  - ~200/500+ stones, 107 items in inventory.

    I just wanted to add them here as well since the upcoming patch also have a new pet.
