Loot change?

I can't find it anywhere here or in release notes...

I'm not sure if it's an ATL issue only or not but has anyone else noticed that the loot today from the new bosses seems "nerfed"? The matriarch is only dropping like 3 items now and the Tempest doesn't have anything.

Someone said they heard it was done intentionally to "reduce lag" but I've hit the Tempest spawn 4 times today and every single time I still can't move or do anything because the problem is BEFORE the loot is generated.

    From the post above, which bosses, specifically, does this impact?
    * Reduced corpse loot for World Bosses that have an alternative loot drop scheme

    Does this impact bosses where typically no more than about 10 are present?  Please enumerate all the actual boss names that are impacted.

    I'd think that optimizing the action where loot is generated would be more preferred over an a nerf as described above, at least from the perspective of the user/customer base.

    Reducing animations, "all kill" and other text spam sent to all players, text spam from are poison, etc, are things that are more likely to impact lag seen during the fight.

    Total BS update nerfed the crap outta em! went from at least a little looot on the tempest to arrows only and only the ability to open the corpse not remove them lol DO BETTER UO!

    Yea I'm in the "keep the loot" camp... especially when the items that spawn on the corpses are sometimes way better than the stuff we get as drops. 

    I just did the Tempest on ATL and it's still laggy as before. Sorry but this was a huge miss by the Dev team. How about instead of nerfing loot, you guys just stop (and don't make bosses with) void rain and massive gold/orange puddles that blow up and flame strike everyone?? I'm pretty sure that would do the trick. I'm able to move just fine before the Tempest starts doing her thing AND immediately after she's killed. Loot wasn't the problem....

    Ya the void rain was causing this.

    Not the bots.  

    They have not looked at atl during different hours.  You could see it was amount of players and the void rain.  The whole screen is a huge mess of void rain and players exploding with flamestrike animations. 

    They need to pick one.  Not do all at once to show off.
    Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.
