hi. that new pony
this game doesn't need and shouldn't have a cheat death mechanic.
i could write an entire thesis on why but nobody would read it anyways.
this comes from the perspective of someone who's majority uo experience is playing small gang pvp fighting 2-8x our numbers in open field, faction, and dungeons both pushing grinders and defending. In those instances a death on our side could be an instant objective loss making this a powerful mechanic for someone like us. and as far as pvm goes, i am terrible at it and don't think it should exist for that either. UO already has little to no remaining risk left, if I lose my encounter and some pots because my sampire died, oh well go again.
cheat death mechanics historically havent worked well in any other mmo and it doesn't have a place at the table in UO.
have a good day, im going back to walking shelter dogs now and wont be adding to this any more.

Except Evade is every 20 seconds. Both of them are effectively cheat death mechanics already.
I think its impact will be minimal, but nice to have.
I don't think this little horse is going to change things much. I can't tell anything about 1on1 at Yew though.
