Can they turn that option on in the CUO . I like that option when doing maps and trees blocking steps ect. You can use the addon in Pincos for turning off trees , so don't see why not in the CUO.
I don't do anything that especially benefits from it, but I'm sympathetic to this request. I don't really see why getting hung up on foliage should be some kind of crucial gameplay element worth fighting for. Same with the options that make field spells more legible.
If I'm not mistaken it's those weird jungle trees, @Victim_Of_Siege . You can't see through them and they cast a shadow inside a house too. Like the deeded cherry blossom trees do.

Gotcha, now that you mention it I do remember placing a house on fire island and dealing with that. Main reason I turned devastation on years ago. At least the leaves are gone. You can do the same IN EC by turning canopies off. It takes the sails away from ships too.
A Goblin, a Gargoyle, and a Drow walk into a bar . . .
As a new man and a current Ultima Onojne enthusiast, thank you for not allowing tree stump hacks. Can you please also ban PincosUI from being able to connect to servers, as it is advertising such art hacks. It’s detrimental to the longevity of this beloved game.
Yup CoT is at max in that pic. I am standing on the step around the house. I can adjust CoT and see the step around the house but it makes it transparent so I cant drop anything there. So, I guess I could use EC and figure out where that setting is. I could use those lockdowns and put some zombies climbing up that wall.

Let us know how trying this in the EC goes. I'm guessing poorly.
Toggle Foliage doesn't appear to actually remove the foliage, rather turning off the tree canopy graphic. The click box for the canopy remains. As such, in many cases you still can't click between the tree limbs, even if you can see the ground. Quite frequently, if you do manage to get the click to be accepted, it places the click location at the base of the tree, just as if you'd clicked on the foliage.
-- I see Vic's post below about using the graphics tab. Since this post is still editable, there is also Actions> Other > Toggle Foliage from the main menu, which can be setup up as a hotbar or macro to toggle foliage on the fly.

Apologies @Pawain Canopy off is what you change in CC cfg file to turn them off. In the EC it is Foliage off on Graphics Tab
Thanks, I had to use all 3 clients to get it. EC allowed me to see the spot where the vase is. CC allowed me to do the rest, but halfway thu, it made the trees kinda show up so it was not easy. Then the only client that lets me see it while above without trees was the CUO client.
But, I was able to remove some stuff from storage!

I'm going to have to look into this. I'd seen the Show Foilage option in the EC, but I'm happy to hear the option is available (to some degree) in all the clients.
Interesting that the CUO client seems to have the most robust implementation.

Not really, I'm on the 3rd floor of the house to see without trees.

So I'm guessing the game is registering those canopies as on a different "layer" or "level" above what the CoT can reach. Maybe just extending the CoT "bubble" would fix the issue
Does it work on the 3rd floor on CUO, but not on the 2nd or 1st?
Kinda like that, depending where you stand. But, the CoT too big does not let you place on the step when down there because it turns transparent, so it took a lot of finding the right stop to stand.

You prob want for a different reason.
