    Either it tells me it cant communicate to the login servers, or it tells me there is an update and/or my caps lock is on (which it isn't).

    I first started having problems logging in around 2:25 am PST this morning.  That is the timestamp on the EC lua file I was editing at the time.

    Now I'm getting hit with "incorrect password" instead of hanging on "verifying", and none of my passwords have changed. Even changed one manually to confirm you get an email when it changes. This bodes well...

    The login server is wonky today and it may not be able to verify that your password is what you put in. I get that, the can't communicate and just plain timing out. you can eventually get in if you keep at it. It takes around 20-25 attempts. @kyronix, any update on what's wrong?

    I knew this was going to happen when they migrated to the cloud.

    they've been in the 'cloud' for years, also the log in server and several of the shards haven't been migrated yet.  I don't believe that is the problem.

    No, I have no idea what the problem is, only that I firmly believe it is not because of the recent migration of some shards to the cloud.

    I use multiple accounts (no scripting, all CUO Web). Not a single one has made it on after 50+ combined attempts. I'm not trying to log them all at once, so its not a case of sending too many connections through at once either. Try one, get "incorrect password" or hanging, clear the connection, try another. Nothing.

    I'd rather we concentrated on sending positive vibes to the poor soul trying to get to grips with the problem and fix it.

    Nothing stops wild speculation like communication from the developers
