My pet goes that colour any time I accidentally hit it. I think I might miss the warning and get bitten if it was that colour to start with.

It's mildly annoying, and I accept it as the price I pay for not having resist spells. I don't consider it to be 'game breaking'.

I use a trapped box, but they do tend to chain it. So it kind of goes 'para, hit box, para, hit box, para - oh for God sake! Gerroff!

I may be mis-remembering, but as I remember it, there was bad feeling at some treasures type events because the shard residents found it difficult to participate at all because of the overwhelming number of 'visitors' flooding the location, making …

Whether logging out to save a pet is an exploit or not is a red herring. What I have been wondering is just how far out did @popps go? To log in screen? or all the way out, quit program? All the way out would clear cache - as those of us who use E…

What has paroxymus swamp dragon got to do with it? I don't have one either, but I've seen enough ghost ones in the dungeon to know they die too. I never log off to save the pet, but I do have it linked to a pet ball so that I can get it out of the …

I'm not sure what the cause is, but possibly related, there's a guy running around on Europa in tiger form and the tigers appear pale green - and no, he's not in an allied guild.

My thoughts are, is it the design? or the players? Personally I lean towards 'players'. I'm playing on my oldest character, the one who's name I use here. She's a warrior. Do I run past someone who is trying to fight a paragon and drag it away? no…

Interesting thought, however I've used my most able character to get items for a less able character on another account. I could live with 'shard bound' artifact drops and 'account bound' rewards. @JackFlashUk If you're so sure there's a nice easy …

Hmm, my gargoyle will be keeping her Berserker, I've just managed to get her the epaulettes, she now has 40% ssi My Swords samurai, NOT Sampire has all 70s with protection running. hp/stam/mana 139/193/25 dex 150. ssi 30 di 100 armed, 60 unarmed.3…

I'm unsure whether to go for this or not. Currently my warrior is wearing basilisk hide breastplate. Help me understand the pros and cons of changing?

Why would you want to trick or treat in Umbra? The npc's are few and well spaced out. By far superior for the purpose are the crowds of refugee gargoyles outside Royal City.

I have my swampy on a pet ball. When I run out to get a rez I use it as soon as I'm alive to call it. When I'm lucky it's alive, when I'm a bit less lucky it's dead, but there's a kind tamer outside to rez it, when I'm sheer out of luck I take it ho…

Well the 'why' is easy. People dying in the dungeon means skeletal knights spawning in the graveyards. I've seen named skeleton bones on vendor search priced at anything from 10k to 2 million. The how I can't explain.

Could you maybe sell these non-transmog versions to someone who wants to imbue it instead? Or is transmog the only possible use of them?

@popps Uo is, and always has been, a game requiring choices. You must choose which skills to have, and which to forego on your character, you can't have them all You must choose which properties to prioritize on your character's armour, you can't ha…

I agree the glacial colour needs toning down somewhat. If I had the skills to do it, I'd have made it the same colour as my character's outfit. Another thought. The area where it spawns need not be 'cold' now, it could be that the creature's presenc…

I had a bit of a play with @Violet 's frost steed idea. I'm no graphic expert, so I just took a fire steed and did 'invert' on the colour. Not sure where it would spawn though. Having said that, I wouldn't be against Tyrath's idea of changing the…

I had an idea to have one tamer that only had ridable pets. The idea hit a wall when I realised there was no rideable cold damage pet. So that's what I'd like. I'm not worried if it's a 'frost steed' the frost beetle or some other variant. She ha…

That may be your interpretation of the function, but I get my information from reading publish notes. You obviously have some deeper source of information. Mindreading? or Occult crystal ball gazing perhaps?

Not really a fair comparison. No one would have been playing UO with a loaded pack animal beside them when a hurricane was forecast! This only affects people with LOADED pack animals that they are not mounted on. When autostable was first introduce…
