[EM Wrapup]Order of the Tower and Rose/Order of the Tower and Stone
Since I'm sure not everyone was able to make the meeting on Thursday night, below is a transcript, cleaned up a bit, with questions and answers.
EM Faine Morgan: as I had mentioned a while back, I really wanted to do something besides the Royal Guard
EM Faine Morgan: I wanted something for healers as well as fighters
EM Faine Morgan: I also tossed around a third option for tamers but
EM Faine Morgan: that sort of gets us down a path of where do we stop and how hard would it be to track
EM Faine Morgan: I think two will be challenging but I think I can do it
EM Faine Morgan: we are going to start with two orders
EM Faine Morgan: the first order will be the Order of the Tower and Stone
EM Faine Morgan: that is the warrior/fighter path
EM Faine Morgan: each item signifies a different rank in the order
EM Faine Morgan: the second order, the healer order, is the Order of the Tower and Rose
EM Faine Morgan: The Orders each have a path
EM Faine Morgan: they each start with Initiate
EM Faine Morgan: and they each culminate at Knight Commander
EM Faine Morgan: each has a guiding set of principles
EM Faine Morgan: the Order of the Tower and Stone is based in Valor and Honor
EM Faine Morgan: the Order of the Tower and Rose is based on Spirituality and Compassion

Damia Terra : do you have to choose the fighter path if you're a fighter?
EM Faine Morgan: no, you do not have to choose, necessarily the fighter path

EM Faine Morgan: and there will be missions specific to each path as well as joint missions
Cold Steel : can you put the suits on a mannequin
EM Faine Morgan: currently I don't think you can put them on mannequins but I will verify
**Verified - the items cannot currently be placed on mannequins. I do not know if there is any plan to change that.
Damia Terra : i know this is more paper work stuff but can we choose human rewards instead of gargoyle

**Note: I will be recording human vs gargoyle so if you want the promotion items to be human and you are a gargolye (or vice versa) it is your responsibility to let me know that.
Cryptian : so to pick a path, put name in book with path?

**Note: There is a problem with the books in the Enhanced Client. If you are using the Enhanced Client, please put your name in the By area and then just write Tower or Stone in the journal area.

Kat Coral : All in all very nice but I am a tamer/mage and I have no wish to join any order

EM Faine Morgan: all events, missions, etc are open to everyone

**Additional - If you do not wish to be in either order, simply do not give me a book. I will not track your attendance for promotion. This is simply intended to be another RP avenue for those who wish it.
Se'Saucy Wench : What if a tamer ..heals, .. we have to select a path of those
EM Faine Morgan: Se'Saucy Wench, a tamer, as well as everyone else, can pick either order either path
EM Faine Morgan: a mage can pick the Tower and Stone and an archer can choose Tower and Rose
EM Faine Morgan: most missions will be joint missions
EM Faine Morgan: there are a few things I'm going to change up however with events
EM Faine Morgan: in the past, I've been putting up four healers at the final fight site
EM Faine Morgan: with the new system and the healer path, future fights will only have one of mine
EM Faine Morgan: unless we have no healers on the shard...
EM Faine Morgan: and let me throw in a caveat on that
EM Faine Morgan: before you all decide to burn me at the stake
EM Faine Morgan: I'm open to re-evaluate that number
EM Faine Morgan: but I really want players on the healing path to do the healing
EM Faine Morgan: if the healers are dead too, there will be at least ONE invulnerable NPC healer present
EM Faine Morgan: I will monitor and put up more if it becomes necessary
EM Faine Morgan: right now, and this is all subject to tweaking
EM Faine Morgan: right now, the plan is twice a year
EM Faine Morgan: I will adjust if it looks like we need to
EM Faine Morgan: I will say the first promotion ceremony WILL be in January
EM Faine Morgan: I think we need a good sixish months to shake this out
EM Faine Morgan: and tweak whatever needs tweaking
EM Faine Morgan: the first several paths are pretty easy and close together
EM Faine Morgan: but, I'm not planning on any skipping paths
EM Faine Morgan: so, for example
EM Faine Morgan: let's say initiate is 3 missions and the next stage, acolyte is 7 missions
EM Faine Morgan: if, in January, you've done 7 missions, you'd still need to spend time as an initiate (and let me explain my thought here)
EM Faine Morgan: let's say in January, you've done 10 missions, but for the next three months, you barely make one mission
EM Faine Morgan: so in January, you get to initiate
EM Faine Morgan: you still have the 10 missions total "banked"
EM Faine Morgan: life happens
Se'Saucy Wench : Will they be all DAY times or evenings
EM Faine Morgan: they will be mixed, they will be a lot of evenings but, I will also put in self directed missions you can do on your own
EM Faine Morgan: weekend missions, daytime missions, etc.
EM Faine Morgan: I will tell you this, the first level, initiate is three missions
EM Faine Morgan: from now to January, I think that's doable by all AND
EM Faine Morgan: I think it will give YOU a chance to give me feedback
EM Faine Morgan: are there enough missions times for everyone to advance, etc.
EM Faine Morgan: and we will go from there
EM Faine Morgan: so the first step will be to choose a path, Tower and Stone (warrior) or Tower and Rose (healer)

EM Faine Morgan: when you have decided, drop a book in the mailbox here or at the award hall
