Enhanced Client not saving settings (options reset after reopening menu / relog)

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue with the Enhanced Client where user settings are not being saved.

What happens:

• When I change any option in User Settings (for example: enabling/disabling checkboxes like Autorun, Auto-navigate around objects, etc.), the change appears to apply while the menu is open.

• However, after closing the settings menu and opening it again, the options are reverted to their previous state.

• The same happens with visual/UI options, such as changing the backpack type — it never applies permanently.

• This also persists after relogging or restarting the client.

What I’ve already tried:

• Firewall is allowing the Ultima Online client.

• Running the client as administrator.

• Making sure the game closes properly (log out → exit).

• The issue happens consistently with all characters.

It feels like the client is unable to write or persist configuration files in the user data folder.

Has anyone encountered this issue recently?
Is there a known problem with permissions, config files, or a workaround (manual config edit, cache reset, etc.)?
