Town Crier spam

can we get an option to set the town crier to what spam we want to see?
I dont care that the streets are clear from a non existing invasion and i dont care that the artisian festival that is now over has started in Vesper.

The artisan festival is not over.  The next town will be Yew followed by a repeat of Britain.

I do agree with Whitewolf where there are times that I'm getting the same message 5x in a row, but I don't mind if the town crier announces it. I just think the messages should cycle 1x instead of 5x; ie the first message is about the dungeons, second is about the matriarch, third about artisan festival, then cycle back to the dungeon (instead of getting the artisan festival 3-5x in a row).

My thoughts would be to put it on this paper that opens up when you click the Cryer, add a "Current Event's" tab at the bottom and put the Barked news there. Not sure how easily that could be done though.
