Another Broken thing? - House Placement Tool – “Too Many Attempts” Message?
I noticed something strange today while trying to place a house. After just a couple of placement attempts, I started getting a red message saying:
“You’ve attempted to place a house too many times recently. Please try again later.”
Basically, I can try placing about 3 times before getting locked out. Then after waiting a bit, the message goes away, but it keeps coming back again after a few more tries. I’m even waiting 1–2 minutes between attempts, and it still happens.
I tested it on a second account, and it’s doing the same thing there too.
Has anyone else run into this recently?
Did they change the house placement cooldown rules?
Are we supposed to wait 3, 4, or even 5 minutes between placement attempts now?
I even waited 5 minutes once and was still getting the lockout message.
Can any of the devs please clarify what’s going on or if there’s a new system in place for house placement attempts?
Thanks in advance!

I was using my two accounts; trying to place an optimize house.. such a pain in the ass, such a bad limitation for non illegal third party users.
*puts tinfoil hat on* I'm pretty sure they knew that in advance, no way on earth they are that clueless and did not roll it back, if they were.. like they know who's third partying botting most of the house to RMT them and doing that??.. less competition for that affiliates real estate guy, or girl.. Way to obviously dumb to not be intended, or i'm lost.
PS: what ever they say, words gonna word (like that final warning they give him a few months ago, the producer legit call that person by name).. look at the results/facts.. a simple fact.. some person got ban from forum for calling him out and BS out; not doing anything against him and it's lucrative business.. meanwhile as legit, we multi account to place a solo, "worthless", house by our own.
Leave attended paying accounts alone, these people go thru a lot of trouble to automate the game.
It’s comical to me you are so frightened of somehow bod scripters get some sort of advantage.

Meanwhile, we (random legit) also paying their bills.
From where I sit, It work as intended.

Can we all make a petition about this?
@Kyronix, can you please stop making these kinds of changes that no one asked for, and that only make things harder for normal, everyday players?
This new placement system is so frustrating — it’s worse than before, and there’s been no official explanation, no guide, no instructions on how it’s supposed to work now.
Are we just supposed to give up and let the same people (“the nonono guy”) place all the houses while everyone else gets locked out?
This really needs to be looked at, it’s not fair, and it’s ruining the housing experience for a lot of us.
is it too early to ask @Mesanna to jump in and help?
Edit: It's the same problem as the anti botting measure. You help the pro cheaters, using third party, more than anything else.. While annoying legit users.

You have never worked on anything with intermittent or user error.
When I worked on Hospital equipment, I would come in and find a machine on the shelf with a tag that said, Broken. The equipment does 20 different things, which part is broken? I'd perform safety tests and Preventive maintenance routine. All 20 thing worked to spec, I returned to the department, Usually would never see that item for a long time.
Or they would sent EKG transmitters with the broken tag and not tell you they pulled it out of the toilet. You'd find out when you opened it and stinky water came out.
I'd say 70% of the repairs I did were taking something apart and putting it back together and finding nothing wrong. And the device does everything it was intended to do. We had records, so we knew when things returned to the shop. An old TI with an 8in? floppy disk.
I can't even figure out where to stand!!!
So, I think if you could explain your problem to a dummy house placer like me, and I can understand the issue, the devs would surely understand.
You also avoided a post from me. I have worked in the electronics field and my current field for many years. Those of us in that field help each other! Im on a group chat in my industry, we give away clients and help each other be better in their professions. You have shown that you have tried to help, so I have not admonished you for that.
My replies are mostly to the poster who has not logged on since last year.
Let's strip Paiwan 10k+ post and give it to foreverfun!
Who's with me?
