over the years, 3 times now, an active guild i belonged to lost its guild leader and therefore the guild house ended up going IDOC. Would it be possible to have a guildhouse go to one of the guild members instead of just loosing it?

No one in the guild talked to this guild leader before he quit? They just disappeared without a word?

years ago if an account bound house went IDOC, it would be offered to the 1st in line of co owners, so yeah, it can be made to work the way it used to......

1  was battling cancer for months, then died the day after her last log in.

2 had financial problems and lost 3 houses over the course of a few months. last time they were on,  she wanted to transfer 1 of the houses to me but never got back on to do so.

3 the guild leaders had a severe fall out after meeting each other IRL and one abruptly left the game because of it.

4 there was a 4th time but I do not know the details

@Kabuki I'm so sorry for your loss of a friend and for the upheaval in your guild. I hope things smooth out for all involved.

Thank you, she was a close friend and I am glad to have been able to save some of her items as I dedicated an area in a castle dedicated to her as a memorial
