Apologize if this has been announced somewhere already but....

Event on production finished, the other game got their mindless grind event shattering event going on.

What's up next for production shards? Are they working on bugs, banning 3rd party clients, vendor search, housing systems, etc., you know stuff that's needed to happen for the better part of a decade?

Really excited if so.

They are working on resizable CC, as well as 60fps for the CC. If you play CC, that's very exciting.

For sure, that's exciting as I also use the CC, but is that in the next update/publish we'll see? I thought that was ways out.

There will be the usual ToT and things that start on a date.  Krampus, Artisan festival.

    Usually a Dungeon event.

First Event: The Homecoming.  Oct 14 will be quite fun.
Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

Please, give us some rest !!

I do not know others but, when there is an Event running, with the scarce time from real life to spend in the game, I can do nothing else but participating to the Event...

Yet, there is other stuff to do in the game as we know... we got Rubble to spend time on to decorate homes, need to work on the new tames made available to train them well, likely need to sort through our in game stuff items (choices to make on items to discard) to make room for whatever items will come with upcoming Events and so forth...

All of this takes time !

Ultima Online is not just an Event after another, there is lots of other hunts, spawns, resources to gather etc. to do but if one needs to focus on an ongoing Event, how is it possible to then do the resto of other stuff possible in the game ?

Please, @Kyronix , at least to my opinion, give us some rest from Events so that we can Focus on all of the other stuff available in the game. Thanks.

How about you take some responsibility for yourself and play the game in a way that you actually enjoy. Literally nothing is stopping you from ignoring events, I do it all the time. What a ludicrous post.

Agreed, I skipped the prodo events that just ended and have been playing NL, i ground out the new event on it until last night. I will hit it again in the next week or so. @popps ;Play the game your way, nobody is forcing you to log on to the game, or these forums. take your own break and play at your pace. and don't bother with your usual "this is why i can't and these are the reasons ,as i see them . . ." replies, I won't read them.

Maybe if Popps stepped away from the forums for a long time that would help relieve his game-stress.  I hope he is well.

With nothing happening until mid October I'm down to 3 account spending less time=money  on UO ..there is 0 reason the original TOT spawn couldn't be always on...toss on on past rewards..

I agree. These temporary mindless grinds have burned people out years ago. I've seen so many people quit because of this over the years. Players don't have time to mindlessly grind these events for 3 months, and especially not able to on top of this make a character for the new game, advance it there, and THEN grind out another temporary event. Please @Kyronix give us players a rest: at most we should have one of these temporary events per year on each shard but now you're going to run one during the Holiday's when there's so much else going on? WHY? But this also, it plays in to...

Yep. I think we really need to move away from this temporary grind model and go to a permanent content model. Now, the last dozen ToTs were a lazy copy/paste and I wouldn't like those to be permanent. However, the last one had some unique mechanics and it should have been made as permanent content from the beginning, with the rubble, a couple pieces of gear and a few pieces of decoration. I just don't understand why they would spend the dev time to make something more interesting than a bland ToT and then retire it after 3 months? Seems stupid to me @Parallax

Cheat clients are the issue turning me off from playing UO by far.

I got burnt out from the wildfire event in fire dungeon, but I did spend almost 100% of my playing time there during the event until about the last 2-3 weeks of it, but when they stopped doing the ToT events on the fel side. it became boring fast, pvp at least added dynamics that often kept it interesting.   ...didn't see any bot trains on the fel side either.

Also, during the 2nd Event in Deceit, turning fel on only on Atlantic was unreal, not sure who made that decision but, it was pretty much as bad a decision as it could have been. the one weekend of fel activation was a close 2nd for worst.  pretty much better to not have it at all.

I think I'd rather it (If it's going to be Trammel-only) be several different dynamic champ spawns, obviously in different areas, each with their own unique boss reward(s) and random collectibles from the mobs leading up to the boss for the full 3-month duration, instead of a ToT event,  the ToTs -burnout sets in fast when that's the 'main event' every cycle,

Remove or change casting focus & poison immunity it reduces the need for "Player Skill" it's garbage. rant2 Bring timing back and eliminate chance in pvp!

You say there were no bot trains in fel but what percentage of the pvpers use illegal clients and isn't cheating cheating

No bot trains in fel, at least not when I was there (probably more time on than off during that time), which is quite a lot until the last few weeks.   I'd say it's far more difficult to run into a legit player in the game as a whole (pvp or not) than it is to run into a cheater.   based on what I've played with and against 80-90% of players are running an illegal client.   I still use UOAssist or just the default CC (never liked having multiple UOA's open), and the only other person I knew that also played with UOA quit playing about 2 years ago or so, also due to so much cheating going on and nothing done about it.

I only know 2 people that pvp with the EC, but they all use illegal clients for farming (pvm) the only reason you don't see bot trains in fel is because they'd only be usable on dead shards of during times where there are very few people logged on to screw with anyone trying to bot in fel.

Absolutely cheating is cheating and needs to be dealt with in some meaningful way.

I think unfortunately we learned when they started the war on third party clients just how many accounts they'd loose and decided it would kill UO
