Five on Friday Questions

I know they  have to be submitted by sometime Tuesday, but not sure where (general chat in Discord is way too active to find it, and the Five on Friday forum is locked).

My question would be:

1. House Placement Tool.  The timer is clearly not stopping the people it was meant to stop (and who those people are and what/how they are doing it is not for discussion here).  It just frustrates legitimate players to no end.  At the most, can it be removed, at the very least, can we get better messaging on it, instead of "true", because when I came back and was trying to place earlier this year, it was an absolute nightmare until I read about the timer.  "True" means nothing if you don't understand what the timer is about.

At least give us a countdown and give us a message like "a house fits here but you must wait 90 seconds before attempting to place again"
  1. Remove the House Placement Tool or Alter the Message5 votes
    1. No leave it
      20.00%
    2. Remove completely or make it clear i.e. "a house fits here, but you must wait 90 seconds to place"
      80.00%

This is just my 2 cents, but the housing tool can also be improved to help legitimate players.
    • When a house placement fails, give the exact reason in a text. (Too close to the house in front, too close to the house at west, restricted tile, uneven foundation, etc.)
    • If there are problems with the tiles, then mark the restricted or uneven tile in different colors.

This way people wont have to try to place the same house 5-10 times before finally figuring out the exact problem.

There are two sections for five on Friday. The top one is the answers, the questions is further down and named Five on Friday Questions:
For those who don't do Discord, I have been copy/pasting the answers here: https://forum.uo.com/discussion/16437/five-on-friday-answers#latest

    From:

"While you (broadsword) are at it, change the server side placement code to do an automatic "best fit" in (say) all possible squares in a 3 tile radius from the attempted placement location, if the exact targeted location is a fail."

And if it isn't obvious, that's a server side change request.
