QOL features you want in the classic client

So let's hear it. I'll start with a simple one.

Get the hell rid of other peoples poison messages. When something does a mass poison attack I absolutely do NOT need a hundred instances of "so-and-so spasms uncontrollably" or whatever. This frankly should have been changed as soon as events became... like they are, because it just looks ridiculous.

    Sounds like a server side change to not send poison messages to everybody on screen.  We can already tell other players are poisoned due to the green health bar.

    Of course, the EC can already filter out those messages client side, but why is the server bothering to send those?

    It'll be a good chuckle to see various EC features ported into the CC, rather than just providing a CC style graphics pack to EC.

    They have to make it do more than Classic UO!

    Auto open doors

    Auto loot gold from mobs we kill.  Get rid of gold and just put what we earn in our bank.  I never have a plat because I spent it if I did have it.  So, I don't give a crap about someone saying that will increase bots.  I want what I earn.

    Double click item and it goes to your backpack or a selected container.

    Select a drop container - allows items that are pack drops to go in that container instead.

    Allow more keypad macro choices -  Can you use the mouse buttons and wheel for CC?
    (I turn all the extra mouse buttons off because I fat finger click them)

    Working health bars that correctly update.

    Templates that we can save as a name that are accessible from all accounts we use.

    Only allow approved clients on the UO servers.  WTF  do I really have to ask for this?

    Some of the things from NL:
    Select container for the crafted items to go from the crafting tool.
    Pet bonding timer on the pet lore screen. 
     
    Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

    For me, absolutely a quick way to loot the corpses I kill and, most importantly, with the ability to filter what would be the items to loot and what to leave on the corpse.

    This, at the strike of a key.

    That is, I set up my "looting macro" configuring it for what items I want to loot, should they be on the corpse, then as I kill a MoB, I press my looting macro and it automatically retrieves whatever items are on the corpse that I have set it up to be retrieved and place them in an internal container in my backpack so that I do not get a mess in my backpack.

    Another feature that I would love seeing with the Classic Client, is the ability to filter all the client text messages that appear on my screen... especially with these Events that are participated by many players, often I do not even get to see where the Boss is... because players' characters and text messages litter the screen right above the Boss... even pulling up the Boss' health bar is a serious difficulty since, doing CTRL+SHFT may pull up tons of bars and then, trying to reach that of the target while everyone is moving on the screen and fighting at the same time can be an issue.
    I would like to be able to filter which bars to display in the foreground and which in the background or, even better, be able to tell which bars not to pull up at all and pull up only those that I want...

    A way to make the making of Bulk Order Deeds items and the filling of them much, much easier and faster... ideally, I would like to just have materials in a container (not in backpack) that I could link my crafter's tool to, then hit the Macro which would read the BOD number and type of items needed, make them (if the character has the required skill to make) and then fill the BOD up.

    Easy, fast and no hassles.

    A way to more easily be able to find Treasure Maps locations. As of now, the PIN that shows when reading the Map gives a very, but very vague idea of where the location might be... I would like a way to "zoom in" the treasure chest location on the map and be able to more accurately find the location to dig so that one does not have to waste a lot of time to do it.

    Fully agree with these 2...especially #2. I stopped bringing pets to the Mistas fights because by the time I said "all kill" and targeted the health bar of a commanders; they were already 80% dead. It's easier to just spam EQ or Thunderstorm.

    This is why they created Davies locker... it gives the exact location. There are several public ones spread around too so I don't think there is a need to spend time/energy where there's already a viable solution. The Davies locker works quite good.

    Just let us use Classic UO and not the web based one because there are still people that can not use the web base one and this forum along with discord is of NO HELP
