I think cooks should be able to arm spoons or baking rollers.
Don't give them ideas.. your spoon gonna have the skin and animation of a skinning knife while your baking rollers gonna be a club copy pasta.. we'll need to open your paperdoll to figure out your weapons specials moves.
So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world?
Leave attended paying accounts alone, these people go thru a lot of trouble to play/automate the game.

They should have kick ass specials and recipes that offer sweet buffs and all requiring cooking and taste id include a fire resistance buff as well
Cool ideas, if i'm being selfish let's not include/talk about taste ID.. I had train it on one of the 7smith/tail mule.. but with all the changes and stuff since I last played.. I did some rework and had a choice to make.. flush ~95 taste ID point and buy another SS for a "useless" skill.. Guess wich option I picked.

You're amongst friends, you can admit you bought another soulstone.
Because you know that someday, there will be an event or quest that requires taste ID, and while most players are scrambling to read the UO wiki or UOGuide and try and raise taste ID, you will be chuckling to yourself as you reap the rewards.

This was the plan before.. but with the rework they have done (mostly cuz of BODS bribe) I slice into the crafters.. I went from 7 tail/smith with tons of random skill/build.. to 4.. I did a dungeon gatherer, a PvE thief and was working on a fisher/bard for the mule account.
I did flush it and won't ever train it back.. from memory it's one of the worst skill I ever train.. Never abuse of satyr.. but it was mandatory here. Never again.

I would like to be able to equip a rolling pin or skillet
I am looking forward to seeing the items in the upcoming kitchen set (it was mentioned during the dev talk on TC) when it gets to TC

Probably because I am a pvp mage, who doesn't believe in luck, and likes SDI in pvm...
But still, a very good point.
