Returning after 10 years

Hi All,

I just underwent a surgery and cannot do much else. Decided to sign up for UO again for 6 months. Also, mainly to see the new tameables as well. I am going to look into New legacy as well. However, I think development has to move forward to recreate UO and stop living in the past. Also, I am seeing a lot of bugs during my play. It's just crazy to me that you can have such a great sandbox game and such problematic development. I have been playing on and off since the 90's and you have to evolve. The death system would need to be retooled, skill gain needs to be much quicker and so forth. For example, you could have really fast early skill gain or to a certain level and then it would get really hard at 90+. I heard this will be in New legacy, but I am just saying I dont see the point. Maybe kickstarter or gofundme for a brand new UO.

I also cannot get UO assist or anything working so playing now without knowing map details is quite annoying. The new client has some features but looks like it doesnt have map details. I am on the pac server but looks like the population is super low. No vendors to buy much from or do anything. I love taming though and training up my beasts.

    welcome back, I would urge you to try the EC. client and Pinco interface. look up pinco on Discord.  ICQ is dead now so you cant use that to find players anymore

    Nice.  The OP wants them to make NL so he can jump right back in and fight everything quickly.


    Click on the New Legacy Server.
    Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

    Pac is very low pollution shard like most and there are only a couple vendors like you say. If you’re looking for groups hofd guild has a some really nice HELPFUL people look them up. Very soon there will be a few tram keeps and a tram / Fel castles coming up for sell if your into houses DM me
    if your looking for an active shard go to Atl it’s really the most active and has all the vendors you’ll need.
