Item Request: DPS Test Automaton // Bound Gemstone Elemental

Two request for upcoming items. First one is something players have asked for and would be greatly appreciated:

Armorer's Test Automaton (referred to herein as ATA) - House Addon / Placeable Item - The purpose of this item is to test Damage per Second for characters, pets, and summons.
    Single clicking the ATA opens a context menu that allows the player to set the total resists in each damage type (from 0 to 100), select a duration of 1-5 minutes, and a "Ready for Combat" button.
    Once the "Ready for Combat" button is selected, the ATA will visibly shout "Have At Thee!" and spawn an attackable automaton.
    From the first damage received, the ATA records all damage of each damage type done to the automaton as a timer counts down over its head.
    When the time limit selected in the context menu is reached, combat ends, the automaton disappears, and a menu identifying total damage received and damage per second for each type of damage will appear.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Second item is also a house-add (as it promotes subscriptions)

Bound Gemstone Elemental (referred to herein as BGE) - House Addon / Placeable Item - The purpose of this item is to provide slight buffs to various stats ABOVE CAP by feeding the BGE with gemstones.
    Single clicking the BGE opens a context menu that allows the player to select a specific blessing from the BGE to be the "default" that is given when double-clicked.
    The BGE will grant the blessing for a 24 hour period.
    A player can only have one BGE blessing active at any one time.
    The strength of each blessing is determined by the total amount of gems fed to the BGE.
    The strength of each blessing decays a total of 10% of the selected gem type each use.
    Dropping a stack of gemstones onto the BGE will "feed" it and raise its power level.
    The power level of a buff is calculated by the amount of gems currently consumed:
    At least 500 gems of the same type = level 1 for that gem's blessing.
    At least 1000 gems of the same type = level 2 for that gem's blessing.
    At least 2000 gems of the same type = level 3 for that gem's blessing.
    At least 4000 gems of the same type = level 4 for that gem's blessing.
    At least 10,000 gems of the same type = level 5 for that gem's blessing.

Gem blessings roughly correspond to their imbue use and can raise the associated value ABOVE CAP for 24 hours:

Amber = Hit Chance Increase
Amethyst = Energy Resist
Citrine = Damage Increase
Diamond = Physical Resist
Emerald = Poison Resist
Ruby = Fire Resist
Sapphire = Cold Resist
Star Sapphire = Spell Damage Increase (above PvP cap)
Tourmaline = Defense Chance Increase

Example: A player drops 10,000 Star Sapphires onto the BGE. They select Star Sapphire as the default blessing using the single-click context menu. The BGE elemental changes hue to that of a Star Sapphire. When the player next double-clicks the BGE, they recieve a 24-hour buff to Spell Damage Increase that raises the PvP SDI cap 5 points (which can go above their PvP cap). The number of Star Sapphires consumed by the BGE when the player clicked it was 1,000 which drops the next 24 hour buff after the current one down to level 4 (4 points).

Graphic should be an animated vortex that changes color to match the color of the current default blessing gemstone.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

@Kyronix are these possible? I believe the underlying systems exist to put something like these together (reasonably) easily.

Thanks for reading!

    Yes there was a test drone on TC a long time ago.

    So the first one is something they have done.  Just need to add tweaks to set resists and stats on it.

    Definitely would be popular.
    Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

    I forgot to mention but ideally one could also set the skill values for the automaton for any skill a mob may have, as well as stats due to the impact of stats on parry / wrestle / etc.

    The devs would likely be concerned about people using the DPS Test Dummy as a way to skill up characters or pets. We already have ways of doing that though via Wolf Spiders, Shadow Ore Eles or Gregorio. The Elder Scrolls Online has DPS Test dummies that you can place in your housing there, with different toughness levels for the dummies to match certain boss types.

    The Bound Gemstone Elemental numbers are a bit off, that's way too many gemstones being consumed for a legit player to keep up on. Most of the huge gem stacks being generated in game come from scripters mining them up, not from hunting mobs or T-Hunting.

    Let's say wow, and wow devs not made their own dps meter, yes they have dummies but still good luck count dps without addon. As I understand dps meters is not healthy thing for a game design so measuring dps is only on players initiative, if they add dps meter they will have to explain every formula for every ability in the game, they will have to explain why this is better then this but it could be just a design thing, rpg shouldn't have real life logic for everything, it is what it is. I'm not saying measure dps is bad, but like in wow you can do it by side things, like it is pretty easy to create your own excell table with all dmg modifiers and play with target resists and effects right in formulas.

    @PlayerSkillFTW I erred to the higher side because over the years people have mentioned over and over about "gold sinks" for the game. So my reasoning was that this would largely be utilized in that way. I think the required numbers would work lower. This item is just something I had been thinking about and threw out there.
