Inscription Skill is Stuck - New Legacy

in New Legacy
My inscription stuck at 60.8 (my last skill up was a 1.0).  This is on New Legacy.  I then made 100 recall scrolls, which are the next rank of makeable scrolls & I got no skill-ups.  Poison scrolls no longer give me any gains, and I made 50 of those scrolls.  Not sure what to do.

    I saw that.  I was really hoping the answer was not, "It's insanely slow & we are not fixing it."  This thread says I should "punch Goats" to gain inscription until I get to 64.0 & then "kill ice fiends with spells."

    This can't be intended, and I assume the code uses the wrong skill check for skill gain.

    I truly believe they made the code for advancement after 60 to be killing things. it was the only way to advance mine after 60, no amount of scribing will give you a gain. The stuff about punching goats and other things was mostly in fun, the main thing is killing mobs. I am at 84.6 now and it is painfully slow. if i wasn't stubbrn, i'd delete this character and make one on the Narrative path, But alas, I amd very stubborn and will finish this character the hard way just to say I did it and to report how long it took.

    I am on the narrative path... But when you take assassin (because I wanted poison), it kills your inscription & you have to restart it.  I highly doubt this is "right." You have been on it for 2 months & only gotten 25 skills.  You can raise up resisting spells in a few days just killing things without using the quest guy.  Something is definitely out of wack.  I am pretty sure I am deleting & restarting just not to have to deal with it.
