So they player left?  Stayed a while and returned.

Someone else said Totems did not prevent others interfering , Correct?

Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

Yes, the totem appears to work but if a player leaves to stable a pet and returns it seems they lose the unattackable ability for the mares that have spawned.

I was just super angry that someone would even try and do that (kill a new players mares) and voiced it, was told to stfu and it appears that the player that did it has access to a gm's ear, got me temp banned for telling people which is even worse.

Makes me contemplate even playing with corrupt jerks like this.

Lol, that is the player I encountered who made me just leave Atlantic in frustration. I was killing Nightmares in peace, then he shows up with another TWT guildmate in tow and states "TWT will be taking over this location now." And proceeded to kill a event grey nightmare I was in the process of taming.

I have had nothing but negative encounters with that guild.

I now play a lower population shard without overcrowding and it's a way better experience. I wish people would realize that Atlantic is not the only place to play UO on.

Yeah. Atlantic is a really miserable place to play on now. Before you use that token, I would advise making a throw away character on a few shards, ride around a bit, look up vendors, check out the community etc before you settle on one.

When you speak out against cheating they seem to screw you in game, great game model to incite new players.

This is what happen to me day 1 of the event.. I called their bots on zones so they brang their red and turn grey.. when the momentum switch day4 (like i told them in game it's low life vs no life.. my money on the no life; time for me to hunt the low life.) and I was not an easy pick anymore; killing their red and running away alive.. they just decided to do the train on Felucca to protect themselves, while saying racist stuff when i would kill and steal artifacts from their bots; when they not doing the train, thinking they are safe to farm more artifacts; splitting their bots..

No wonder I would prefer Yew and Vesper; best two city to hunt bots and run away alive.
So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world?

classic case of schrodinger's mare. is the mare that spawns with nobody around a rare hue?

what if rare mares spawn more frequently with fewer players around?
