I've been looking through the EC UI folder and thought it was kind of interesting to be able to edit the paper doll frame a bit. I made this example to motivate a little if someone else dares to make more designs and remove the boring style of EC. I will continue with this idea to modify my own style and share it. Looks great! I like the texture you used. The vanilla paperdoll is bulky and ugly.

I redesigned mine more for utility. The + icon toggles the character graphic.
