Stable(slots) change the stable gump window.

So with the increasing number of stableslots (40+) and the increasing amount of desirable pets to keep. How about adding a "favorites" category to the stable gump (classic client). Its harder to find my pet whenever i wanna take it out of the stables. If there was a favorite category, I would have just 3-5 to look through instead of 40+. Thx

This is a call for help  :*
So rather than recognise the effort the botters went to, to set all that up - for the benefit of the players, to help get certain items, something you could never be bothered to do, you would rather drag people backwards to your neanderthal world?

It would also be nice if you could add a description to the pet to see in the list or when you lore it.

    Also
not having numbers in the name is frustrating. Like you can’t name it 3.5 Nightmare.  When you have a half dozen in your stable all named ‘a nightmare’ it can get confusing.
  • well at least you wont need to get many shadowhounds. The new hotfix has basically made them two a penny, i tamed 4 off my first cache chest and just kill them now

I don't play a tamer but it would be incredibly useful to get a complete stable/claim gump overhaul. Make it nice and clean. For starters, between the claim button and name of pet, add a mini-statuette of the pet (like what you see in the trade window) that gives you a visual of what the pet is. When mouse over of the little statuette it says hue, slots, etc. basic info. When single left-clicked it pulls up animal lore page of the pet. Be able to sort by name, manually, add favorites, etc. Maybe be able to 'archive' pets so they wouldn't show up unless you clicked another button to 'show all pets'.

You can claim pets by name.  I only use a handful of pets, including some select packs of 5.  For the pack of 5 case, just make a 5 part macro, each is a "whisper" (*) command (at least in EC):

    claim ShadowHound1
    claim ShadowHound2
    claim ShadowHound3
    claim ShadowHound4
    claim ShadowHound5

The name of the pet is case-sensitive.

You can likewise stable specific pets with a macro (again, at least in EC), using stored target objectIDs, or the Pet object helper.

(*) "say" also works, but who else really cares about your pet management commands?

As you notice, you can not remove pets that have a space in their name like this. Most of mine do.
    on CC.
Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

This also works, a single whisper command:
    claim ShadowHound1 ShadowHound2 ShadowHound3 ShadowHound4 ShadowHound5

Maybe somebody else knows if there is an "escape" character or way to "quote" the pet names, if the user decided to use a space.  The age old work-around is to use an _ instead of a space, to avoid the quoting/escape.
