How long will the new colored nightmares spawn?

  Based on the rabbits from a year or two back are still spawning in different colors (That were also only supposed to be during the event), my complete guess is that they will be permanent. Plus it seems the data shows that it's almost needed a totem to spawn them in a "reasonable" time, so I'm sure they like the pay-to-win nature. However, the event posting is worded otherwise, so that's all we can go off of.

  It says limited time which is NOT cool considering how hard they are to spawn. 
  
  I just farmed close to 200 of them with nothing, not even a void.
