Went to do a Beacon with my disco fisher mystic and hail storm doing no damage to orc crew 136 sdi with orc slayer book

    Also did no damage to dread pirate after I boarded orc ship

    The cold damage spells have been nerfed for a long time.  I doubt that they would even hurt a chicken at this point.
