Casting gate at Barrels at Idocs

Over the past week have noticed and have fallen victim to gate spells being cast right at the barrels at idocs. they been opening red gates and gates to mage tower in shame. and when you go to page on the person it comes up as no char found,

just drag an object while u run/walk and you will not able to go thru gate

At the last IDOC I tried making a gate near the barrels and it would not let me.

“I imagine you just cast the spell a couple of tiles away then run up to the spot, theres often a brief delay in casting gate and the gate actually appearing, I haven’t tried because it’s a fairly non - issue”
