attempt of arm while under disarm timer counts as action

"if you attempt to arm a weapon while still under the disarm timer debuff, this count's as an action and will cost one full second before you can perform an action,

expected result: attempted arm while still under disarm timer to not subject user to one second action timer"

"please disregard, this issue affects only arming using UOAssist and not arming with ingame macro"

"no it's same with uo macros for arm, counts as action, it's little faster than uoassist but still counts as action and puts a delay on arm if you press a milisecond too early (before disarm debuff is gone)

"very unfair to make disarm last seconds extra time just because you're pressing button manually instead of having script do it for you, should not receive a penalty for manually pressing button milisecond too early"

The purpose of a buff icon is to allow you to know when you are under an effect. Something you have complained bitterly about in cases where the icon does not exist. Disregarding an existing icon seems unwise, is incurring this penalty not a question of 'user error'?

“Yes yes but here is why leniency should be granted to those not using scripts.
If you’re watching the buff bar, the broadsword classic client doesn’t currently display the number countdown (unless you mouse over the debuff) so the timing is hard to get in your head from when you first see the debuff.

Okay you wait for debuff to go then press arm, BUT sometimes the debuff has not gone but instead moved position, the debuffs re-align themselves so there’s no blank spaces and different debuffs have different timers, especially when using an enchanted apple the disarmed debuff can move many many tiles. So you’re expecting the debuff to disappear and it does disappear at roughly the time you were expecting (except it’s just moved).
I am just requesting to not punish those who are trying to play without scripts. Instead of trying to arm and adding extra seconds when arm not possible, should instead just not try to arm.

yes you can avoid this if your timing is absolutely perfect 100% of time but should not be punished for being 1 millisecond too quick sometimes,

If anything should be punishing those using cheats where it re-arms automatically not giving additional handicap to those playing without.

If you try to eat enchanted apple, or drink heal potion before cool-down has gone, or try to drink heal before mortal debuff is gone there is no extra seconds penalty, only re-arm, because trying to arm weap and dropping it again is extending disarmed time

But yes at least there is a debuff for disarm,

i may make video to show”

"its okay can close thread, user error, my arm macro had delay function in it after arm for weapon special, was causing re-arm delay on a second attempt after a failed attempt.

    issue resolved

but about the timers on the buffs, even when you mouse over them, they only update every 5 seconds, no good for a 7 second debuff, timer should show without having to mouse over"

Only took a year to figure out Operator error.  How many other so called bugs of yours are operator error or game mechanics...
Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

"? was same day Jan 4th to Jan 4th,

I'm sure you'd be the first to advise if you located a user error in another bug report.

But actually it's not smart macro system, if first part of macro fails, why it continue trying to play the rest of the macro.. i accept the way the macro system work though and resolved"
