pumpkin helm transmog?

first what armor type is the pumpkin helm, is it plate. cloth or leather?
second, if i transmog my minax plate helm onto a pumpkin helm will it then be considered plate?

    It is medable. Any medable helm will work. You can not remove mage armor after transmog.
    Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.
