tips on mining for granite?

Me also.  You have to mine a lot.  I use Fel Delucia.  Fel bonus and you can go all the way around the city and not run out, so you can stay there and not get killed.

There is the rock hammer but players say the increase is small.

luck works with saltpeter maybe it would work with stone

I would use the rock hammer. Using the hammer gives a lot of failure, but you will also get more stones before the pocket runs out.

If mining for high level colors you can use the rock hammer with maps from BoDs or Vela.

You can use the prospectors and garg pickaxe to see what metal can be made there then decide if you want to mine. Only the color granite can be dyed.

i am mining because a guildy wants walls for his keep i hope he only wants plain ore

This is my rock hammer macro. I click on the mountain/floor somewhere close to me then use the macro.

I couldn't get it to drop in the little box when trying target by resource but will give this a try!!
