Pet attack mechanics ??/

is there any info on how my pet decides what attack to use? IE if a disco Cu with explosive goo will use disco 1/3 goo 1/3 plain attack 1/3 or is it all just total random?

They use RNG.  So your answer is yes.  A Pet with Chivalry may turn EoO on and turn it off 1 hit later.

But things like Cure or remove curse work very well, a pet will use those very fast and only when needed.
