Shard transfer incomplete

I did a transfer from Atlantic to Sonoma about two hours ago.  There's an empty character slot on both shards but the character (15 year old fully trained and equipped) is nowhere to be found. Help!

    Check the shard you accidentally sent them to. :)

    I checked every shard i had a shield for, character is still AWOL.  GM was prompt response and now waiting on them to investigate...

    Just checked Sonoma - they fixed it :)

    That character needs extensive questioning immediately!  Maybe he went to the New Legacy shard!

    Their passport got flagged and they where pulled into the deep cavity search room by the TSA and then forgotten about.

    maybe you did the transfer too close to server up/down.
    it usually goes down 8:02 AM ET and comes back up about 10 mins later.
    (i heard that if you do it within half an hour before or after that time, that sometimes they don't make it)
