Crazy idea and stupid question of the day

Why can't my fishing pole be my weapon ? we have whips that can be maces or swords or fencing.. and mage weapons lumberjack and axes etc etc hey maybe they could be rewards for fishing quest ;) ;) and even imbue able....

    I want a snake slayer fishing pole so I can use it against any sea serpents that I fish up.

    Aye, +1, it should come with Osiredon, Corgul or Charybdis slayer versions...

    i could love a Trident that used Fishing skill as well that i could fish with ;)
