Hi,

At what point in the story/questline are the invasions started? Do I need to do any prereq preps or are they at any of the different stages or the last stage?

    Kyronix has already said that the invasion is the only part of the event that will be turned on. Not the preceding quest chain, and not the succeeding rewards.
    Fighting the mobs for the items they drop is all that will happen at this time.

    Rather than start a new thread...

    Does anyone remember how to deal with the thieves? They steal from me and I can't kill them because they're in guard zone.

    Will the Sherry the Mouse statues tell us which towns are invaded? Or will only the town crier npc do that?
