mage + spellweaver w/ 40 extra skill points

My mage + spellweaver character has 40 extra skill points on his goal template.  Currently my plan is to have them be Focus, but I'm thinking with decent LMC armor, he may not need that extra juice.  (Note that he is human, so he will effectively have 20 Focus in any case.)  Two alternatives come to mind.  First, Hiding would give him some added flexibility.  Second, Animal Lore can be handy to reduce number of tries to see pet's stats.  (With 20 JoAT Lore, he can see that anyway, just takes more tries.)  What do you think, and would you choose something else?

    I’m a fan of hiding for characters without joat.  Cartography would allow you to do stash maps.

    Merus, I hadn't considered Cartography.  So with JoAT in the other skills mentioned, 40 Cartography would actually add to his capability.  I like it. :)  Besides, since he is also a scribe, it is a good thematic fit.
