GM inscription SDI bonus?

So i added GM inscription to my SDI mage but the 10% bonus does show on my character sheet ?? is there a cap on how high my SDI can be(diminishing returns understood)

I too would like more info on how gm scribe sdi bonus works.

It never showed the 10 sdi on my char sheet, but just figured it was calculated another way.

However, just today I was asking my partner what his word of death and fireballs were hitting for.

He has 156 sdi shown on his char sheet but no inscription. I have 150 sdi shown and GM inscription (thus the GM scribe bonus should put me over him in sdi at least for mage spells.  He was doing more damage on WOD and fireballs. I can understand WOD not
getting the bonus, but why not fireballs??

We both had 150 int and 120 eval. No other sdi bonuses were used when we compared notes.

There is no cap on SDI outside of PvP, scribe SDI is handled a bit different.  iirc it's a bonus to base spell damage at GM, where as regular SDI is a total multiplier.  It won't show on your character sheet.
