Try the 'recent discussions' link on the left. Unread threads are in bold, unread posts on threads you've been reading have a yellow 'new posts' flag

I had to switch to "desktop site" to see that option, doesn't show on mobile view.

Is there anyway to make it so the read posts don't show (unless there has been a new post) when you click "recent discussions" again?
