Classic Client OPTIONS settings : "Follow Mouse" does NOT stick & defaults to "Single Click"

This is quite annoying because it prompts me to keep changing if, on various characters, back to Follow Mouse from the Single Click that it Defaults....

Not sure what causes it but it sure gets annoying since it happens way too often.

Classic Client : Options --> Interface Tab (the mouse) --> Item Properties Display Mode
I want it to be Follow Mouse and set it as such, click on APPLY and then OK, it works for sometime but then, usually when I Log Off but It has happened to me also while being logged on, albeit less frequently, it goes back to Single Click.

And I have to re-set it to Follow Mouse.....

It gets annoying. Thanks.

Not sure what causes this, but here is a solution that worked for another user:

have you tried checking
”display item properties icon”
And changing the setting to follow mouse by double clicking on the icon until the mouse symbol appears, then log out

I am not sure whether the Devs did something, they may have fixed the issue sinca last Year's August that I posted, because, apparently, now it is no longer doing that issue... *crosses fingers*....
