Inspire bard spell vs Plunder beacon and orc ship

Hi

When I fire at a beacon I do get the Inspire bad spell bonus. Tonight, I fired at Orcs ship and it seems it didn't applied. Anyone else noticed?

    It never did a bonus on Orc ships.  
    Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.

    I wonder though, if you hit a Plunder Beacon with an Evil Omen before firing the cannon, will the cannon do more damage?

    Confirmed. Casting Evil Omen on the Plunder Beacon prior to firing cannon on it increases the damage. Orc Ship does 8,125 Damage to Plunder Beacon when it's under Evil Omen. Get more BANG for your buck, with Evil Omen.
