Gumshoe Quest Bug

I just did the quest and after the last person I went back to Jasper and got no necklace and he said I can't do the quest again.

or are we only allowed one character per account?

You only need to do it once per account, you can swap the badge to other characters.

Turns out if you have a rune to inside the shop you have to leave and come back in through the door before the reward is given.

No need to leave the room.  Wait for the "You are under the protection of the town.." message then move around a bit.  I used to sit in the chair across the table from him.

Ya but so much faster when you have multi char take it
