I am unable to use clippers on decorative plants from Enchanted Wheelbarrows.  I get the message "You may only use these clippers on decorative plants"  I had no problem using the same clippers on decorative plants I grew from seed.

    Correct. They do not want you to get the new colors and make dye from them.

    There are other decorative plants that you can not clip:  Most plants from peculiar seeds.
    Focus on what you can do, not what you can't.
