"Ultima Online – City of Britain Writing Contest
We’re running a small lore / writing contest focused on the City of Britain.
The idea is simple:
each participant writes a short description of one building in Britain and the person who runs it.
It can be anything you like:
a tavern or inn
a shop or workshop
a quiet corner business
something shady, respectable, or somewhere in between
Describe the building itself and its proprietor. What kind of place is it? Who owns it? What sort of reputation does it have? Feel free to lean into atmosphere, rumors, daily life, or character background.
Rules:
One entry per person
The building must be located inside the City of Britain
Original work only (or chatgpt or any other ai, these days...)
Any writing style is fine as long as it fits the Ultima Online setting
Prizes
The three best entries will receive prizes:
1st place
2nd place
3rd place
Dates
Deadline for entries: January 30th
Winners announced: January 31st
