Umbrascale Rewards
This thread is pretty late, but I was a bit side tracked with NL ending, when the rewards were on TC1, and then went straight into mature egg hunting (all my drops have been going towards massive maps).
As I've started to worry less about getting mature eggs (ie massive maps) and more about getting rewards (up until last week I was only picking maps); I've started to feel like the reward list is a bit lacking (wearable/functional items). Don't get me wrong, there are several cool items that I will grab a couple of, but I don't feel like there is enough to keep me grinding for the whole event; unlike the last event where I wanted to get every toon a sash. I was really bummed they didn't add more recipes for armor/weapons that use void fragments.
First let me give credit where credit is due. I think the totems are for sure worthwhile and there are 4 of them that are all worth getting (mix of PvM/PvE/PvP). Good work there. The luck clock that adds additional luck on top of lucky statue hits is another great add. While I don't love the human version Champion's Aegis, I am glad they added the Garg version which is an upgrade in most cases. I suppose the instrument has its use but it's a bit lost on me with the dozen or so Gwenno's Harps I have. I like the weapon they put on the vendor, but there is where I start to feel things became a little "meh"... no arguing about the stats of the weapons and I'm glad they made more than just a double axe...but it's literally 10 weapons with the exact same stats so while they take up almost 2 full pages let's not pretend this is really more than 1 actual new item. Additionally, there is no denying it's "super brittle" and wears down way faster than a weapon with almost identical stats (I tested this many times).
Honorable mention for me, and where I will give some credit, is the 10 SDI robe since it's the highest SDI robe slot we have, and while I don't think it's better than the archlich robe due to the FC 1; I guess for some they can argue that it is. Again 4 different versions of this item is still just 1 actual new item. Another honorable mention is the return of the Holy Warrior gloves / Mempo / SDI Chest... all great items for suit building, but these are repeats so I don't really count these are "Umbrascale rewards" and people that grinded those other events may not need them.
After that, what are we really left with? 4 versions of the same 5% SSI robe that isn't good enough to replace Morph Epps (10 SSI) / a Champion Aegis that isn't really better than the mace & shields / hexweavers visage that isn't better than scholars halo / a 200 pt hatchling (I can't see a use for it) / same 50 SDI book from every event & 30 SDI book / another Hiryu mount that's just a different hue than the one we had in Tokuno (but more than twice the points).
TL:DR --> I feel like aside from the 4 totems / luck clock / Garg Champion Aegis and possibly the SDI robe; there really isn't a ton of options to spend my points on. I've grabbed 2 of each and have grabbed an extra gloves/mempo/SDI tunic, but not really sure what else to spend the point on.

I'm enjoying the recycle of the good pieces the best.
The Dev's have to strike a balance between providing new items for existing players and giving new/returning players options as well.
I like the items as a collective. I am a fan of the egg mounts and the reward mount.
All that temporary heresy should come back, be implemented in the SANDBOX.. with crafting recipe, ingredient all over the place.. like a real UO game, with good old RNG.. and be hardcap as well.. like a real UO game.
Leave attended paying accounts alone, these people go thru a lot of trouble to automate the game.
It’s comical to me you are so frightened of somehow bod scripters get some sort of advantage.
