Hello everyone,

Do you guys have any pointers for staying alive while fighting this boss? I have more time to play right now thanks to the weekend. I joined the fight against this boss 3 times.

I die almost immediately after he shows up. Then I rezz. Then on the way back I die again. I back and forth 3-4 times. The the boss dies. I could not get looting rights from this boss so far.

Thanks in advance!

I tell you what I do with my characters.

My two characters are in party, which means that if one of them has done enough damage (or joint damage), I get access to the loot with both of them.

With my tamer I launch the creature.

With my Shampire I use evasion (if permitted timer) and go straight for a hit or two and move away, recover life with Confidence and Close Wounds and come back, so it's a loop.

If your character is a mage, one option would be to cast Chain Lightning and do Energy Vortex invocations, move away, heal, etc... come back, so it's a loop.

This is the way I do it.

Additionally, as with any creature, once the timer has elapsed, you will have access to the loot left in the creature's body.

That is the leftover loot of all players.

It might be interesting for you to wait if you want additional loot.

You have to watch what he says. He charges his capacitors, all the while he's spawning those swirling death fields so avoid those!

Every so often he'll target a player, you've seen numbers appear above your head? RUN as far away from everyone else as you can because once the countdown ends, you'll take some damage and those wonderful swirling death fields will start to surround you, killing everything in it's path. AVOID THEM! And don't run towards people. Just walk back and forth until it ends. Then..run back to the boss. EV's work, summons work, ranged players work...just gotta avoid the death swirls! (I don't know the proper name for those lol) The swirling death ring of energy!

Pay attention. Almost every single high level MMO boss can be sussed out with this one tip.

Countdown above your head? Get away from people and stop at 1. Let the flames start, move out of the circle, get back to the boss.

Countdown above someone elses head? Move away from them.

If you're using a melee character on him, you're just asking to be snapped in half like a twig. He hits like a truck and even a Samp will struggle to outheal it, and all the pets/EV's stacked on top of him are 100% going to get you killed when they inevitably get a countdown on them.

If you're an Archer, Shadow's Fury from the Manifestation of Evil event does gang busters on him. Its energy based damage, and his weakness is energy. AI will easily hit for over 100.

Mage, spam Energy Bolt. DO NOT summon EV's or you are a douche thats making things needlessly more difficult for everyone else.

Tamer, be ready to rez your pet constantly. DO NOT call it back to you when it has a countdown, same exact reason as the EV's. If you need to call it back to heal it, wait until theres an opening to do so and be ready to stand inside your pet if they get hit with a countdown during being called back. If you end up in this scenario, wait out the flames, your pet will very likely take heavy damage or die trying to move out of the flames if they're not a "fast follow" pet (Shadowmane, Vollums, Clydesdale, newer pets in general).
