Leftover chests from sanctum event

I have seen on pretty much every shard the chests in town from the sanctum event leftover. During the event they would be revealed and opened and never disappeared. I thought they would disappear after the event was completely over but no they are all over in the cities. Should you do another event with the chests this could become a problem and it is unsightly so can they be removed please?

I spoke with the Dev team, and they said to page a GM to delete any that you might find.
