What happened to all of the large weapon blacksmithing BoDs?

What happened to all of the large weapon blacksmithing BoDs?  I used to get 2 to 3 of them a week.  Now I have finally gotten one after 3 months of trying with 7 characters with 70 and above blacksmithing.  I still get 2 to 3 large armor blacksmithing BoDs a week.

 I am on Pacific.

Honestly it’s a real problem.  Blacksmith larges have too few weapon larges.  It’s been this way for a long time.  Their might be some sweet spot of smith skill to get them but honestly I’ve always though they should sell larges for gold. Like pay 10k each and buy as many weapon larges as you like.  You still have to get all the smalls.

is it a joke this thread seriously none want large smith weapons bods. 20 6 except large weapons bod give the same reward than a small bod 20 excep dull copper or 10 except shadow iron small bod.

When you do BoDs for the artisan festival a large exceptional iron weapon bod is worth a lot more than a small exceptional valorite bod.

Bods can be turned in for rewards or you can bank points to save up for better rewards.

A large weapon 20 normal bod is 70 banked points.  You can buy the items for the smalls from the NPC. You don’t even need ingots to get 70 banked points.  An ex 20 weapon large is 110 points and doesn’t require special ingots just iron.  You can turn in 11 of them and get a Val hammer. No Val ingots or crazy bribing required for valorite plate 20 ex - just a bunch of easy to get cheap iron ingots.

To fill a dc or shadow small bod you need shadow or dc ingots and your banked points is like 9. Fine if you are after powder but tell me what single bod you fill for a +60 hammer or Val runic?

I love how people come here to defend obviously broken uo systems. The copium here is extremely high. It’s broken. It needs fixed.

    Have a great day.

Edit: I just finished a 20 NM Axe large. Cost 3540 gold to fill. No ingots. 70 banked points. At this rate I could acquire a Val hammer for around 60k gold. Pretty sure I can sell it north of that.  I just need more larges. I’m drowning in smalls.

But how much time is necessary to invest, using banked points, to get a Valorite Hammer for around 60k gold ?

With banked points the number of BODs needed is very high and it takes time to seek them, to buy the items to fill them and all that... multiply for the high number of BODs needed to bank, and that makes a considerable chunk of one's own time... and time is money, as the old saying goes...

I agree, you don't get the Large BODs for weapons very much.
I finally started working on Large Blacksmith BODs last year for the Artisan Festival
out of 1.5K large BODs only a small portion were for weapons
(I would say around 50 or 60 of them)

they are the easiest bod to fill
and are now filled as soon as I get them

Not much time at all when you have approx 5,000 weapon smalls waiting for larges all sorted and ready to go.   Just need the larges.  There is an imbalance in the drop rate.  Period. End of story. No debate here Popps.

Source : I’m a 20+ year crafter with approx 40,000 bods in my collection.

Edit : since I had time to validate - took three macing larges -20/20/15 quantity all normal.  Time to get matching bods from collection, recall to a few smiths, buy items and fill with only manual methods in the classic client — 12 minutes.  For 205 banked points.  But then - I’m not new here.
