Have you done the spawn and killed the boss with a gargoyle?

I guess when you think of a UO Paladin, gargoyle is the first thing that comes to mind.

I dont like different versions of same item, this is what we have now on TC

Its getting complicated with all these new items, if they dont remove som of the old (useless) and (worthless in terms of value) items.  Or add them to a new recipe or smth

Kyronix has said that making new recipes is more work than people think due to having to update crafting screens in addition to the other mechanics for said item. I'm not disagreeing with you because I like giving crafters more of a purpose but I think recipes are going to be a tough sell.

Gargoyle Melee basically don't exist. They're beyond extinct. The discrepancy between the weapons with their Special Moves, poor Artifact selection, and the lack of Swampy Armor PvM Damage Reduction definitely plays a role in it.

My first Gargoyle char was a Swordsman, and i eventually turned him into a Thrower because of the issues that Garg Melee has.
  • Oh, and remember that the current top tier pack pet, Shadow Hounds, will stop spawning from Lvl 3+ T-Chests when Pub 119 hits, so get them while you can!

Gargoyle melee is my main character for more than 2 years and I can almost solo anything.

My build has one-hand mf - shield sampire with disco/cb triton (yes skills are fit).

With 180 health via mf mastery, Disco from pet, HLA and stagger even hard hit bosses can't drop me half health anytime.

@Kyronix idea is not to get those items, really I will not use them but forgetting gargoyle is not a good thing.

We should get those for gargs also or bring another event which you give only garg items and everyone gets crazy.

I kinda agree, but a vocal person wants them to waste time with them being melee.

Gargs are just fine as Throwers with Magic.  It's difficult to get the stamina and LRC for it, but can be done without Event armor.

I have converted mine to a macer with healing during a couple of events to get Garg armor for deco.   The 2 paladin weapons are types that directly convert from Human.

Ok I'll bite no melee it's why no throwing weapon?

If you did MoE with a Garg you got the Throwing weapon version of the bow. Glaive   A very nice throwing weapon.

You are still not explaining why a race has been left out of the rewards and why the developers continue to manage via ostrich style leadership

I have not seen proof that you can't convert the weapons and shields, or that a Garg wont get those drops.  I tried to convert one with damage, I think they have to be undamaged to convert.

You should be complaining about the Participation drops.  I have collected those in every spawn,  I doubt I will find many new color wheelbarrow plants that I want.

Gargs are definitely a secondary race (technically they are the newest).

I'm a little torn here. I'd love to get more of the MoE glaives (in different element types) but I'd probably be against giving the new weapons (war fork / war hammer) as a soul glaive because that feels a little too OP (there isn't a bow getting these stats).

I did make mention on what I'd like to see in 2025 is a gargoyle specific drop... like primary target is gargoyles and possibly NOT have an equivalent for non-gargs. I wouldn't be mad about that.

Let's stay focused despite sugar trolling Pawain trying to get yet another post locked.

I see someone used a garg and got human weapons.  So, that is ruled out.  They may not convert because they have a new name and abilities,  The original War Hammer and war Fork are able to convert.

Id say making the code be able to convert them by a smith or with the artificer would be the best choice.

Instead of recipe, they can create an exchange programme, like the cleanup but done differently. For example exchange 30 of the worthless rare weapon for a good and useful item.

I play gargoyles, it is not the end of the world this time around, almost no-one uses garg melee anyway.

Gargs have had a lot of good stuff in all recent events, starting way back in Deceit a few years ago, so very appreciated, I've built some very cool gargs.

    However...

    Mages ? :)

I would like, a specific mage event one day - maybe in Wind - raise the entry limit to 100 Magery (not the 80 I think it is now?).

    Immune to melee damage. :)
