arena or instance based PVP

The more I think about this, the more I come back to it as what this game really needs.  So in PVP we can argue back and forth who sucks and who's good until we are all blue in the face.  The one major factor in about 75% of all fights are numbers.  Who has the bigger zerg.  And that team usually wins, especially off shard. 

So this is more of an expansion idea, and I know it's for pvpers so the brass might think it's a waste of time but I completely disagree.  The bottom of this game falls out with PVP.  You play for 6-8 years you've done all the PVM and you need something to do.  Then you go PVP.  When that falls out people quit.  It's the cycle.  Maybe it takes 2 years, 4 years, whatever.  So since the biggest gripe in PVP is zerging (and it is despite what any troll in here says) why not introduce instance based PVP to the game?  You can force a 5v5, 4v4, you can randomize teams.  You can do a lot of different things.  Crap you could have leagues.  So the map would generate or be allocated like roof, you have your battle the loser gets points, the winner gets more points and then those points can be used towards getting items that can only be found via this method.  Adding value to them.  Something like this would be huge for the game as it is completely missing.
