Dear everyone who doesn't play melee, how do you ever die in PVM?

So I play a sampire, the best template, chosen by destiny to rule over the rest of you like a god. But greatness isn't always easy. Occasionally you bite off more than even you can chew, or the RNG decides that you whiff over and over just because while the monsters all hit perfectly, and you actually die.

It's true, it can happen. Career lowbies mad that a sampire came by and killed all their ettins or whatever think our health bars never move, but if you've ever played one and actually pushed it to its proper limits, you know it can be quite exciting watching your bar go from 100. to 30, to 100, to 50, to 100 again all in the span of a few moments.

My question is, how do the rest of you even die in this game?

Non-sampire melee fighters, I don't mean you. You're the best and I love you. You deserve hugs and kisses and buffs. Mostly. There are some powerful and specific macer/chiv templates using very specific event-limited gear that don't take any guff, but most of you are playing the game basically with one hand tied behind your back and I salute you for it.

But like archers and stuff? Casters? How do you die in PVM? Do you just run around in circles forgetting to heal until all the crappy low-damage energy bolts and stuff from the mobs add up and you croak?

Sometimes I stone archery on to my sampire in place of parry when an event is too laggy to react properly, or life leech is nerfed, or it's otherwise too inconvenient to do my usual thing. It's complete easy mode, even relying on just spirit speak and Bushido confidence for heals. You just stand there and shoot armor ignores into the boss, then run back a little bit when it's time to heal. Everything moves so slowly, except for paragons and a handful of other things, so it's all incredibly easy.

And that's just a weird no-chiv samp slumming it with archery stoned on, imagine a template actually built around ranged combat, with proper healing and such.

My question is, how do the rest of you guys die, and what's happening when you do?
