Using Night Sight Scrolls on non mage.

I decided to make some Night Sight Scrolls to use on my warriors.  When they use the scroll it seems to work, they cast the spell and have the buff icon, but they do not have Nightsight while in a dungeon.  It is dark to them.  When I drink potions they last like 20 seconds, so that's not an option.

I'm sorry, but that's how nightsight has always worked, it scales with your magery skill; https://uo.com/wiki/ultima-online-wiki/skills/magery/magery-spells/
Gives light until dawn. Target must have at least 10 points of magery skill for spell to be effective, higher skill gives brighter light.
We've not noticed it for years because human chars had JoaT, elves had natural nightsight, and there are various items with the property on. None of which are available on NL
Nightsight potion gives light until dawn, which is fine if you're entering the dungeon early evening on uo time, but if it's minutes before dawn, it's gone.

I did not know the NS stopped at daytime.  But I have noticed they all turn off at the same time in a dungeon.

I guess I used the potion right before dawn twice. Lol. I'll try them again.

I guess I confused NS and teleport scrolls.

    Thanks.

I ran out of the Nightsight spell that my mage put on me so I drank a Potion.

Left side is the potion.  I had to run out and get a Nightsight spell cast on me.

    This is Lame!!!!

Potion and spell are not the same.

I also lost my AOL spot by running out.

So, I have to take a mage with me just to cast Nightsight.  Did I mention how LAME this is?
