Cannot Buy GTC on EA Website when Language is german (aka de-de) and not using Firefox

Got the following error when calling https://www.ea.com/de/games/ultima/ultima-online
Chrome or Edge switches always to ../de-de/.. and german doesnt work.
If i choose FF instead of chrome and use
everything work as espected. It didnt switch to ../de-de/
When changing language at the bottom right corner to german, i got the same error.
