Hair Dyes with Disguise Kits are no longer working as they used to

In the past, when I applied a disguise kit, I was able to use hair dyes to change the default white hair to whatever color I wanted.  When the disguise wore off, it would go back to my usual look.  This was fantastic for me, as a roleplayer, because I use apply disguises to roleplay temporary characters for my roleplaying events.  These days I get a message that I can't use the dye when under a disguise.  Is there a reason for this change?  Can it be changed back to the way it was?

i don't know why there was a change. 

I do know that you can see the hairstylist at Luna and get it changed back for a fee. i accidently clicked a hair dye when i was dragging one and had to do this to get my hair back the way it was. 500k

That sucks!  The disguise kit prevents dyeing so I never had that issue.
