    No.  Think it just announces what is going on and sometimes some information in story form about events, and sometimes other stuff.  Have not clicked on it for awhile.  It could have changed.  Assume newsletter has more information though I rarely look at it since I don’t really know where it is, and don’t look at much I can’t get to from the game itself with this forum being an exception.  Don’t really enjoy reading anymore.
